EVE was nervous.
WALL-E was nervous.
WALL-E and EVE were both nervous because neither one had gotten a favorable impression of this...Milton Forthright...and would've loved to see him leave as soon as he'd arrived. The Captain, however, was more forgiving, and had allowed the man to wander freely. While EVE had very much wanted to keep an eye on him, she, WALL-E, and MO had duties to attend to, namely exploring the city limits for signs of good materials. In other words, WALL-E's old Directive repurposed to help with supplies.
Although it provided ample distraction, the work did not ease either WALL-E or EVE's tension. The probe in particular felt unnerved. He'd asked about the other Probes...her sisters. Like her, they'd all been given new duties to aid in Operation: Recolonize, but she rarely saw or interacted with them. They seemed to...dislike...her attachment to WALL-E, for some reason, and so they often avoided her. Nonetheless, she feared for them...for why Milton would want to know about them...
"Evah..."
The waste allocator's soft voice brought her back. She turned to him with a curious look. "WALL-E?" she asked. What...?
She then saw that he was holding something in his claws. It was a stretch of Bubble Wrap he'd found in his travels. POP. He offered it to her. POP. EVE tried to focus on her work...and her worries...but POP it was POP proving POP difficult POP to...oh, who was she kidding?
Before long, she was happily helping WALL-E flatten out the rest of the transluscent sheet, her probelms forgotten for the moment.

If this entry seems a bit...fillerish, compared to the last few, there's a reason for that: I goofed on the order of the Music Tracks I was using as Prompts for each chapter, accidentally skipping "Bubble Wrap" and "La Vie En Rose" to get to "Eye Surgery". I thus had to whip up a little something to close the gap. :3
