WALL-E was by her side, the warm light of the setting sun coating them both in a soft orange-pink as this latest day came to a close. Standing atop a tall hillside, careful of the newly seeded grass that was finally beginning to sprout there, the two robots looked down into the valley below, waiting...looking...

A circle of red lights, contracting together to form a landing beacon!

"C'mon!" EVE said enthusiastically, scooping WALL-E up into her arms.

From within the city, the lights of the descending Ship's engines were clear

Growing up, one of my absolute favorite RPG Video Games was "Shining Force II" on the SEGA Genesis. Not only was it my first Tactical RPG, but the game's unique art style, soaring soundtrack, and colorful characters really gripped me, and they've never really let go. So I'm all too happy to showcase the original Trio, Bowie the Hero (and notorious Drinker of Dishwater), Sarah the Mage, and Chester the Centaur Knight, alongside Kiwi the Tort and Slade the Thief, my two personal favorites of the game's considerable cast.

Sarah is actually the first priest you get, not a mage. lol. That respective role belongs to one of my all time fav's from the game, Kazin. x3 Shame you didn't also showcase him here, but I love what characters you do have. Kiwi! <3<3 (Sarah and this little guy are my other two favorite characters. xD)

Yeah... I love this game to pieces. Actually going through a new file, atm. Just finished off the Chessboard battle. *shudders* I hate that fight with a passion. :I Especially on super. -.- Buuuut, I managed to beat it with an unpromoted party, and I always feel great when I do that, lolz. (being promoted by this point sorta... doesn't add a lot of challenge, imo.)

And lol Bowie and the soapy water. Makes me wonder why he'd drink it if he thought it looked soapy. >.>

Anyway... pretty good pic here, though Chester looks a bit strange. Centaur's are hard to do though, so just keep working on it.

Slade's pose and expression are really cool, and lol Kiwi. Just keep him away from the enemy spellcasters. >.<

Ah, good catch on my Class goof. I definitely like Kazin too, and it was honestly pretty hard to narrow the cast of the pic down to just these five when there were so many others like him I wanted to include. Glad you approve of my picks, though. ^_^

I'm at the very end of a new file myself, actually, during the Final Battle with Zeon. I'm also impressed you were able to manage the Chessboard fight without Promotions, as I always felt the OPPOSITE of you, i.e. that Promotions really didn't help as much as I had expected. XD

and I have a theory that Bowie...isn't very bright. >w>

Yeah, Chester probably got a little too cramped for his own good in the composition here. And don't worry, Kiwi will indeed keep his distance from all Spellcasters (or at least the ones that have FREEZE; he eventually gets tough enough to handle BLAST and BOLT). ;3

So much awesome. I love this game. Which is weird because I don't like strategy RPGs. But I played this one very young so I guess it got a foothold. xD

SFII was my first Tactical RPG, and while others have since come along that strike me as more technically proficient (I've finally had a chance to play some "Fire Emblem", for example), none have ever really replaced it in my heart. It seems to just be that kind of game, and I'm happy to do honor to it here. ^_^

I remember one game had a fox character named Alef. I never played the game but learned from it online. I like Alef, even if I know nothing about her personality.
