Something I made to celebrate the start of the "Season 3" comic over at Fans United for SatAM (if you haven't already, you can read about that in my journal on the matter here: [link]). I'd intended for the background to be a solid green patch, but ultimately felt it best to leave the pic as is; if you feel a background would help, though, PLEASE say so.
I must say, though, this was one of the most enjoyable Sonic pics I've made in a good long while. It was nice to get to draw the whole FF group together again, something I don't think I've done in many years, and likewise it was cool to use the SatAM!Tails design again, another thing I haven't done in a good while. I hope you all enjoy it too.

Really captures the spirit
Reminds me of the scene from 124-125 where all the Freedom Fighters charge after the Xorda.
Thank you. ^_^
Love it for the very classic, nostalgic feel. The energy of all our original favorites, captured in a moment of glory. Everyone's personalities are showing too, such as Tails's joy, Sally's srs bdns, Bunnie's enthusiasm...if I could fav this multiple times I would. XD
It DOES need a background, though. It does feel like it's unfinished. Hm. -Looks up some examples-
These are off site, warning: [link] But this uses lines to draw your attention to the ring, which is glowing using white. This allows you to incorporate a colored background and not have to keep the background white. In fact, when trying to show anything glowing, often you try and use something with white accents, if not totally white (unless you can mimic the lighten/glow effect of digital): Examples: [link] [link] [link]
YES Sailor Moon. It was the brightest thing I could find XD But those are examples with color. Usually you'll want to incorporate a darker back ground color to let it really stick out. But for traditional, even black and white, the theory is the same: [link] [link]
I could probably have yanked better ones but meh. I think you get the idea. >]
Hope that helps
