Part 1 of my Request pic for :iconwingedhippocampus:. He wanted a scene from his fan-fic, "Kitsune", so I picked one of my favorites.

Originally, I was going to do a comic based on the sequence in which Sonic and the others power up the spell to cure the Kitsune, but then I saw that scene had been done twice by others, while this scene hadn't been touched. I thus chose to fill that void.

O_O .... I... I don't know what to say...a whole comic, a three parter at that...it's beautiful!! Thank you so much!

Tails is adorable in that first panel, and I love the change in expression and attitude as Sonic speaks in those bottom panels, it's exactly what I'd envisioned.

Wow! I love the Tails reaching placatingly toward Sonic, and the detail in the Summer region... Tails reaching toward the fireflies is also particularly good, and I like how they keep floating around him.

Yeah, I was actually really happy with how that first panel came out; hands are always such fun to draw in detail, but the angles have a tendency to vex me. Thankfully, I bucked that trend here. :D

I've said it before, I'll say it again: sequences like that bottom series with Sonic's changing expression are one of my absolute favorite scruples in comics. :3
