Fandom Source: "Dragon Ball"
Name: Miruku
Age: Fourteen years old
Family: Mother, Father, and three siblings (two sisters, one brother); she loves them dearly and keeps in touch with them as best she can, but in order to complete her training as a Fighter, Miruku no longer lives with them.
Strengths: Widely-varied arsenal of techniques and attacks, always able to keep calm and collected, and very apt at learning new things.
Weaknesses: Can be too conciliatory or afraid to upset others, sometimes has trouble knowing which techniques to use for what situations, is still relatively inexperienced in the ways of Martial Arts.
Special Abilities:
* Rougafufuken (Wolf Fang Fist): Learned from Master Yamcha; unleashes a wild flurry of Ki-augmented strikes.
* Kikoho (Tri-Beam): Learned from Master Tenshinhan; creates a powerful, oppressive blast of Ki.
* Kienzan (Destructo Disk): Learned from Master Kururin; creates an extremely sharp disc of Ki.
* Tranquil Focus: Unlike most Fighters who gather Ki through intense focus and tension, Miruku is best able to focus her Ki by entering a state of tranquil meditation.
Relationships With Canon Characters: She spent three years training under the Great Masters: Yamcha of the Wolf School, Tenshinhan of the Crane School, and Kururin of the Turtle School. Each Master helped to foster her innate fighting abilities, forging a strong and affectionate bond with her that continues even after she leaves their tutelage to master her abilities alone.

Many years ago, the Earth came under threat from the all-powerful tyrant, Frieza of the Six Empires. Only his defeat at the hands of the legendary Super Saiya-jin warrior, Son Goku, saved the planet, and drove Frieza back into the depths of space. However, the battle had left Son Goku fatally wounded; with his last remaining efforts, he used the Dragon Balls to wish that Frieza and his allies could not attack the Earth. It was a wish that the Eternal Dragon could only make last for fifteen years, however. And so Son Goku's last action was to bring two Saiya-jin infants he had rescued from Frieza's empire on Planet Vegeta into the care of the great warrior Piccolo, with these instructions to his old friend:

"Take care of them, Piccolo. From the moment they can walk, train them with all your strength. These two are the hope of the future. I know they don't look like much now, but I also know that with your help...they can become the thing Earth needs most."

It has been fifteen years since that fateful day. The wish that has kept Frieza and his forces away from Earth has expired. And now the two infants, Serui and Keiru, have grown into young warriors under Piccolo's tutelage, given by their teacher a message of great importance: they must journey into space and gather the seven Dragon Balls lost to the stars to save the Earth before Frieza realizes its vulnerability....

Biography:
Born to a humble village in a remote corner of the world, Miruku was an interesting little girl. Despite her calm, accepting personality, she nonetheless exhibited a natural ability for Martial-Arts. Indeed, she rather enjoyed it, and would often be found practicing it by herself in her spare time. Shortly after she turned ten years old, she asked her parents for permission to seek training from the Great Masters, the three human warriors who were said to have helped the Legendary Super Saiya-jin defeat the evil Frieza.

Though they worried for her safety, her parents knew it was the future she wanted more than anything, and so they let her go.

One by one, she tracked them down, each one helping her find the other, and to each one she presented the same humble request. "Please, oh great Master, I wish to learn all you have to teach, that I may better myself and my ability to protect this world I love so much."

None of them could refuse her.

From Yamcha, she learned the speed and ferocity of the Wolf. From Kururin, she learned the focus and patience of the Turtle. From Tenshinhan, she learned the precision and strength of the Crane. And from all three, she learned the deeper secrets of Ki and Focus. After completing her training, the three all gathered together to present to her a special gift. "You've been a remarkable student," they told her, "you've shown true passion for the Martial Arts, and we believe you have the potential to be a truly great warrior. Because of that, we give you this. A mystical gift, once held by the greatest warrior who ever lived: Son Goku."

It was thus that Miruku came to be the new Master of the golden cloud Kinto'un, and though she had learned how to fly from the Masters, she quickly came to prefer Kinto'un's warm, soothing flight. "Let this cloud help you to explore the world," the Masters told her, "and discover even more about yourself and your skills. There is an entire universe of knowledge waiting for you out there, Miruku. May you discover it all."

That was exactly what the young fighter set out to do next. With Kinto'un to help her, Miruku began to explore the entirety of the world, finding new warriors to learn from and train with, and helping those who needed her along the way. She kept in touch with her parents, as well as her three Great Masters, informing them of her progress along the way.

And then everything changed.

Miruku's travels had brought her to West City. Then two fireballs fell from the sky, crashing into the heart of the city, and revealing two ruthless Saiya-jin Warriors, Radditz and Nappa. Though she was able to fight off the Saibamen hordes they'd brought with them, Miruku found the two Saiya-jin far too powerful to fight on her own...until she was joined by a pair of young fighters, Serui and Keiru. Together, the three of them were able to defeat Radditz and Nappa.

After the fight, Serui and Keiru revealed to Miruku that the Saiya-jin invaders were agents of the sinister tyrant Frieza of the Seven Empires, and their presence meant that Earth would soon be in grave danger, unless they could find the seven Dragon Balls scattered throughout space. "Space is a bit outside what I am used to," Miruku said, "but if indeed I truly wish to learn all there is to know about Martial Arts, I suppose I can't really keep myself Earthbound forever. I shall join you, and help you find the Dragon Balls so that we may rescue our planet."

Thus, Miruku's quest to save Earth and expand her abilities would take her to the Stars.

Have you considered rewwritting the Dragon Ball story?
Reply
:icongojira007:
I admit to not being entirely sure what you mean.... ^^;

:iconryu238:
What I mean is that you seem to be rewritting the Dragonball saga with characters like this.
Reply
:icongojira007:
Ah, I see. Well, I'm not so much rewriting the story as much as I am making an AU for these characters loosely inspired by the "Dragonball Heroes" ads. ^_^

That is what I meant.

Then yes. That is what I'm doing, but it only really applies to these pics; I don't think I'll be doing anything more extensive with it for the time being. :)
